New York, New York— CT United FC fell 1-0 to NYCFC II on Sunday evening at Icahn Stadium in MLS NEXT Pro regular-season play, with a second-half goal from Luka Sunjic separating the two sides.

The Coywolves kept NYCFC II off the scoresheet throughout the opening 45 minutes. The hosts generated the majority of the chances in the first half, but CT United’s defense held firm to send the match into halftime scoreless.

NYCFC II broke the deadlock in the 59th minute when Sunjic found the back of the net to give the hosts a 1-0 advantage.
