The 17-year-old Los Angeles FC Academy winger's very first goal comes with honors, as it's been voted MLS NEXT Pro's Goal of Matchweek 3.
Kickstarting the scoring in a 2-2 tie on the road at Real Monarchs, Machuca looked like a seasoned vet as he danced through traffic in the box to roof it near-post in an incredibly tight angle.
Machuca took 43% of the fan vote on MLS NEXT Pro's Instagram, beating out Houston Dynamo 2's JJ Bell (41%) and Matthew Arana (7%) as well as 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Cup MVP Rafael Mosquera (8%) of Red Bull New York II
