Crown Legacy FC delivered their best performance of the season, scoring six goals to earn Team of Matchweek 24.
Liam Butts stepped up in a big way, scoring twice to help earn three valuable points on the road for New England Revolution II.
And in Texas, LAFC2’s Gavin Zambrano announced himself to the league, scoring his first professional brace and earning the MLS NEXT Rising Star of Matchweek 24 honor.
Let’s take a closer look at all the winners:
MLS NEXT Pro Team of Matchweek 24: Crown Legacy FC

Six goals, a clean sheet, three points, and one statement victory has earned Crown Legacy FC the MLS NEXT Pro Team of Matchweek 24 award.
CLFC stayed alive in the Eastern Conference playoff race with a dominant 6-0 win over Inter Miami II, their biggest result of the 2025 season.
The six-goal outburst matched the club’s all-time record for goals scored, first set on September 3, 2023 in 6-3 victory over Orlando City B.

Six different players contributed to their victory, with Dylan Sing (2 goals, 1 assist) and 17-year-old USYNT standout Nimfasha Berchimas (hat trick) stealing the spotlight.
Sing opened the scoring in the 12th minute before adding another late to get to six total goals this season.
After halftime, Mikah Thomas cleaned up a loose ball to double the lead for CLFC, setting the stage for the Nimfasha Berchimas show.
Fresh off the bench in the 56th minute, the teenager needed less than a minute to score his first goal of 2025. He went on to add two more, completing his first career hat trick for Crown Legacy FC, a much needed breakthrough after battling through a tough injury earlier this year.
With just three points separating them from the eighth and final playoff spot in the East, this win could be the jolt Crown Legacy FC needed to break above the playoff line with five games left in the season.
MLS NEXT Pro Player of Matchweek 24: Liam Butts, New England Revolution II

There are few players in MLS NEXT Pro in better form than Liam Butts right now.
The New England Revolution II forward bagged his third brace of the 2025 campaign in a 3-1 win over Philadelphia Union II, earning Player of Matchweek 25 honors.
The Lawrenceville, Georgia native struck twice in the span of five minutes late in the first half, combining with Marcos Dias on both finishes to help his side earn three points on the road.
With his brace against Union II, the forward now has eight goal contributions (6 goals, 2 assists) across his last seven matches.
Butts now sits at 11 goals this season, becoming just the second player in New England Revolution II history to hit double digits in a single campaign.
He’s also just one goal shy of tying Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s single-season record of 12, set back in 2023.
Following their victory in Philadelphia, New England Revolution II have now won six of their last eight matches and have climbed to fifth place in the Eastern Conference table. They could rise as high as second in the Eastern Conference if results fall their way during Matchweek 25.
MLS NEXT Rising Star of Matchweek 24: Gavin Zambrano, LAFC2

When it comes to instant impact, you don't have to look further than 17-year-old Gavin Zambrano, who came off the bench for LAFC2 in their match against North Texas SC and stole the show, earning MLS NEXT Rising Star of Matchweek 24.
Minutes after subbing on in the 56th minute, the LAFC Academy prospect pounced on a loose ball in the box to put LAFC2 up by three against defending champs.
Zambrano struck again in the 75th minute, this time via a Matt Evans through ball from the LAFC2 half that landed him in a one-on-one situation in the North Texas SC box.
The teenager sized up his defender, cut inside, and slotted home his second goal of the night to seal a 4-0 victory for LAFC2.
It was an impressive second-half showing for Zambrano, and with three goals in his last two games, it certainly looks like LAFC2’s latest midfield gem has arrived in MLS NEXT Pro.
