Carolina Core FC returned to MLS NEXT Pro league play, making a huge statement by defeating Inter Miami II on the road. This outcome gave the Core its first win of the season away from home. Glory Nzingo was the man of the match, scoring two goals for CCFC in style. With midfielder Jacob Evans back in the lineup and Glory Nzingo coming out on fire, The Foxes looked refreshed and organized, responding well to Inter Miami II’s second-half pressure to close out the win. CCFC is now tied with Inter Miami II in the standings, with both teams holding 13 points on the season. Carolina Core FC are now on a three-game unbeaten streak heading home to play Orlando City B at Truist Point.

Glory Nzingo put in a man of the match performance in Fort Lauderdale having scored two goals to earn Carolina Core FC’s first road victory of the season. Functioning primarily as a midfielder, Nzingo was shifted into a striker role and capitalized on the opportunity in CCFC’s 2-1 win over Inter Miami II. Nzingo doubled his scoring against Inter Miami II, with the midfielder now on four goals this season in MLS NEXT Pro. During the 2025 MLSNP season, Glory Nzingo has made eight appearances, with four of those being starts for Carolina Core FC. The Ireland Under-21 international will be a force to be reckoned with for the upcoming match with Orlando City B.
Orlando City B Takes Down Huntsville FC in Tight Battle
Orlando City B met Huntsville FC last Friday with both teams coming off of wins in their previous matches. The first half was more defensive, with both teams going scoreless through the first 45 minutes. Orlando City B broke the deadlock in the 48th minute with a goal from Hayden Sargis, but Huntsville City FC wasted no time responding. Just two minutes later, Christian Koffi for Huntsville FC, slotted home the equalizer.Huntsville FC’s Gunnar Studenhofft wasted no time, giving them the lead off a well-placed corner in the 70th minute. However, Orlando battled back, leveling the score in the 84th minute and then stealing the win with a stoppage-time goal from Dyson Clapier in the 92nd minute. Orlando City B will now look to continue their winning ways as they travel to take on Carolina Core FC.
