HIGH POINT, N.C. — Carolina Core FC, in partnership with the Greensboro Sports Foundation, Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc., City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation & Downtown Greensboro, Inc., as well as local venues across the Triad, will host six World Soccer watch parties throughout the summer as fans from across the region come together to celebrate one of the game’s biggest global stages.
The watch parties will take place across Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem, creating opportunities for supporters and families throughout the Triad to experience the vibrant atmosphere.
Two watch parties for the USA vs. Paraguay and Norway vs. France matches will take place at LeBauer Park in downtown Greensboro on Friday, June 12 and Friday, June 26. Carolina Core FC will also host a featured watch party at Truist Point Stadium in High Point for the Brazil vs. Morocco match on Saturday, June 13.
Additional watch parties across the Triad will be held in Winston-Salem, including events at Incendiary Brewing on Friday, June 19 for the USA vs. Australia match, Kimpton Cardinal Hotel on Saturday, June 20 for the Germany vs. Ivory Coast match, and Radar Brewing on Thursday, June 25 for the USA vs. Turkey match.
The series of events reflects the continued growth of soccer throughout the Triad and provides fans with opportunities to gather and celebrate the sport in unique community spaces across the region. Select events will feature a lively matchday atmosphere of live music, local food trucks, interactive games, and family-friendly activities, while bringing together supporters from across North Carolina during a historic summer for the global game.
